WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
A Lush and Seething Hell by John Horner Jacobs (25% through)
This is a literary horror ARC I’m reading that comes out October 8, 2019. I’m fixing to have it finished before that date. It seems like a great October read for anyone seeking horror-themed works. Here is a snippet of the Goodreads summary- Bringing together his acclaimed novella The Sea Dreams It Is the Sky and an all-new short novel My Heart Struck Sorrow, John Hornor Jacobs turns his fertile imagination to the evil that breeds within the human soul.
A brilliant mix of the psychological and supernatural, blending the acute insight of Roberto Bolaño and the eerie imagination of H. P. Lovecraft, The Sea Dreams It Is the Sky examines life in a South American dictatorship. Centered on the journal of a poet-in-exile and his failed attempts at translating a maddening text, it is told by a young woman trying to come to grips with a country that nearly devoured itself.
What did you recently finish reading?
I’m on a blog tour for Juliet Takes A Breath by Gabby Rivera, a stunning new YA Contemporary that I devoured in no time, very meaningful storyline to this one! I have a moodboard and review scheduled to go live today alongside this WWW post.
Beyond The Moon by Catherine Taylor is a historical fiction / romance with a time travel element. My review for this one is going live later in the week.
The Good Kill by Kurt Brindley is adult fiction with action, intrigue, and suspense. I liked it! Will be finishing my review and posting it sometime this week.
All three were either ARCs or review requests, all books are available now for purchase. Really glad to finish 3 books in the past 7 days. It’s been a reading whirlwind this month!
What do you think you’ll read next?
Resurrection Girls by Ava Morgyn is coming out October 1st, 2019. I was approved for an ARC. This seems like a wonderfully suitable Halloween read!
I have other books I plan on reading as well, but don’t want to get too over-the-top with these goals. September was an intense reading month FULL of reading. I should probably take a few days to a week to ease off of the zealous reading and play Story of Seasons or Stardew Valley or something.
Hope everyone is having a stellar reading week! Would love to know about your WWW’s, and what your reading plans are. Thanks, as always, for checking out this week’s WWW. ~ Kitty
A Lush and Seething Hell sounds like a terrifying read 😂But Resurrection Girls sounds really good! Have a great reading week ahead, Kitty 🙂

My review is coming very soon, and thanks!! It’s cool that you’re not reading horror though, it can be hard to find a lot of fitting and appealing titles so I’m still going to be reading some other genres too. 🙂
