Confession time, I did cheat a little in choosing this book since it was 5th or 6th on the randomized list. The cover caught my attention and the summary even more so! Sounds like a modern Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier and also reminds me to read Jane Eyre, a goal for 2020.

Wow, this actually sounds really interesting! I haven’t read any of the books that you mentioned in the post but Rebecca has been on my to-read list for a while, just haven’t managed to get hold of the book~! I might just add this one to my TBR too… lol

Rebecca is so amazing! I think of it as the book (or at least one of the major books) that got me back into reading. Hope you like it and this week’s GR choice if you do get to read them in the future. 😀
