A couple months ago I gushed about some beautiful book covers, this is a part two of that post and possible on-again off-again series.
This is a mostly random assortment, but hoping it makes for a fun and aesthetically pleasing post. Also hoping to show off some lesser known titles that decorate the halls of my frankly absurd 4,300+ to-read list on Goodreads. :’D Not sure whether to do a massive and committed house cleaning of that hoard of a list or get it to 5000.
1.) Escaping Exodus by Nicky Drayden
This was an October 15th, 2019 release. Am reading it now and the first chapter is sublime. Packed with unique world building. But seriously, that cover. 😮 I almost wish this were a graphic novel.
2.) A Thousand Years to Wait by L. Ryan Storms
I have no idea what this book is, why I added it, nor anything about it. It was released in April of 2019 and the cover is just so pretty, and what I would do for an IRL necklace like that omg.
3.) Red Winter Trilogy by Annette Marie
I know absolutely nothing about this series either and pretty sure I stumbled upon it completely by chance just perusing the Kindle Unlimited selection. Has anyone read books by this author? She seems to have several. Anyway these covers. The colors, the weirdly flowing skirts of the kimonos, do love, would gaze at.
4.) Crier’s War by Nina Varela
That shimmery-shiny embossed look of the cover? Yeah, it looks like that in real life. I’m lucky enough to own the HC of this new release and it is beyond gorgeous. The style reminds me of those lovely Barnes and Nobles hardcover classics, but shinier.
5.) Plum Crazy! Tales of a Tiger-Striped Cat by Natsumi Hoshino (Manga / Graphic Novels)
First of all, it has been 2 years since this series came out. As a cat lover and manga lover I am all kinds of shocked at not having heard of this one until a few days ago, when randomly browsing Bookoutlet. (Which has awesome prices on this series btw.) Thank you to whoever bought something from there using my referral code (or any who buy using the referral code at the link above) that $10 will likely go toward some of these volumes on a next order. That third cover omg. T_T I am curious about the origins of the title. This manga should be called Cutest Manga Kittens Ever instead, to really drive the point home.

I think that’s the most beautiful book cover I have ever seen in my life. those colors are just beautiful. wow and this post just got better and better. I MEAN THE KITTENS THE KITTENS.

I’d seen that first cover when I’d joined Netgalley for the first time and my everything just clicked that Request button barely knowing anything about it lol. Glad it ended up being a good read. 🙂 And omg yes KITTENS, I love them so much lol. I’ll definitely make another post like this again, very glad that you liked it. 🙂

OMG THESE BOOKS ARE STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to read them all based on those covers, that second book though…ahhhh I love it!!1

A thousands years to wait is literally my fave cover of that round !! It gives me some story vibes, which I hope would be true! (all words esscaped me, so I can’t even describe them ahaha)

Oooh I love all of these. I love that Nicky Drayden cover especially. Really want to check out that book at some point, it sounds pretty good.
