After randomizing via Goodreads (going to my to-read shelf, scrolling down and putting sort order by random) the following book tumbled first from that crowded shelf-

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

One of my little bookish regrets was not picking up a hardcover of this when I saw it heavily discounted at my local grocery store. Have heard good things about this fantasy novel and mixed opinions as well. Whether great or just above average, the concept, setting, and characters are a breath of fresh air in what is often a same-y high fantasy landscape and I’m definitely up to trying it sometime. Apparently there are multiple points of view, three or so? If anyone has read this I’d love to hear your thoughts.
